We start discussing the idea of throwing into the bag of holding. The corpse is hot to the touch. We decide to leave her and head to the craves with the light.
We get the vibe that the light has the same idea of the river Styx. It seems to be feeding the body. It might be all the souls of people, animals and other stuff that died here. As we linger there Meldor gets a few years older. Not that we notice though
We go towards the dragon pit. While we sneak close we can see an undead dragon moving about. It wakes up and attacks us. We manage to kill it but we are licking our wounds. We head back into the Mausoleum where Meldor starts creating a save space together with Jacomus Valerius. While Dr. Byron Dark, Erza and Atticus go back to the dragon pit to check it out.
There is some green glow in the dragon pit. But the pit is deep, so for now they decide to return back to the Mausoleum. We see also 2 figures of The Resistance. Grumlik and Lyra returned. They managed to survive a tough battle.
Erza is introduced. All of us meet within the Mausoleum. Lyra knows this area is affected by the hallow spell.
A emotionless man with green flaming eyes stands before us. He tells us that we entered a place we should not be at. And we have destroyed / killed something that wasn't ours. He tells us that the believes of the Ember Empire doesn't align with their plans. We discuss to have an audience with someone in the citadel.
A discussion starts if the necromancers aren't more evil than the Ember Empire. But maybe we can learn from them. We discuss lets go to the citadel. Lets not threaten them. Lets see if they share their plans or at least the way to make an alternative heat source.
In the citadel we are guided by undead. But they are not really responding like people.
We get to a room with 3 people on high backed chairs. A number of undead are crowding the room.
The Necromancers tell us that the female is still alive. It is the souls that can keep her alive. The keeping alive is a deal they made with the previous ruler. They like questions from us. He asks us what our goal is. We tell them about the alternative source of heat so we can stand against the Ember Empire.
They can help us. But they like something in return. They like us to wield a weapon. That weapon will require souls of people killed. We discuss a lot, but it's a way and our only lead. Jacomus Valerius takes the weapon as his crossbow.
