We start back at the underground temple. The chest still magical. It appears not to be trapped. But it seems to be standing on a pressure plate. Dr. Byron Dark unlocks the chest. It appears to contain a heavy unlabeled book.

Gideon proposes to swap it with the Book of Deadly Curses. Dr. Byron Dark still wants to read that...

With a bag of stones, Dr. Byron Dark swaps the book out quickly. He manages not to trigger the mechanism. There is a closed door Artos tries to open by brute.
We travel on. We decide that we like to cross the dragon pit east before we go above ground. This takes about 4 a 5 days. In which Dr. Byron Dark identifies the book we found as a Manual of Golems (Clay) and Gideon tries to train in a plate armor.

We disguise ourselves as something else. Wilbert tells us there is no guards on the surface. We spot a several glowing eyes that we know to be from wolves. The wolves are pulling a slab of stone with 2 guys traveling with them. Gideon knows they are from the Frostgate and are from the Northern Nomad Fellowship.They are looking for some creature. They are on the hunt. But they don't like so share to much. So we leave them.

Gideon tells Atticus and Darcy that he used to be a bounty hunter at the Frostgate Market. He had a job to find Willow but now changed his ways. We setup a camp and a fire. Gideon start holding guard. In his watch he starts practicing using the plate armor and uses a snowman he made as a target.

Though his watch is disturbed. There is something winged coming closer. They attack us. But we are too strong for them.

We continue are Long Rest and travel towards Frostgate Market
We disguise ourselves except for Darcy.

On entering the Frostgate Market we are stopped by a Ember Empire guard. They are checking for paperwork. Darcy shows the paperwork from the Arctic Explorers Society. The guards tell us this is not the usual way and we need to buy extra paperwork. He tells us this takes 5 GP. Artos manages to take it down to 1 GP.
We are allowed in.

We learn Dr. Byron Dark is wanted for 50 GP. Willow's poster is also still up wanted for 5 GP. Gideon does not have a poster on the board. Byrn is also wanted for 100 GP. Willow notices we are being watched. It seems to be a teenaged elf. Dressed in full black with a symbol of a jade. The is from the Jade Alliance.

We go to the Crystal Quill Consortium. A magic shop in the region. A very well dressed man greats us. An old man known as The Sculptor seemed to made some kind of deal with the seller. We discuss selling the Manual of Golems. We make a deal for 250 GP in store credits and any credits we don't use up we gain in half of the credits in real GP.
