The Gem of Dusk (Wondrous, Legendary)

A black pulsing gem that can be powered by elemental energy.

Powered state:

When the gem is powered by elemental energy it consumes the essence of the elementals
connected to this gem. It has the power to return people back in undead form at the cost of

their sanity. Everyone within the selected range must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving each
day or be subjected to a form of madness.

Unpowered state:

Spellcasting focus: The gem can be used as a spelcasting focus granting a +1 bonus to
your spell attack modifier and saving throws.

Necromancy: In the unpowered state the gem has the power to select a corpse and bring
this corpse back as either a zombie or a skeleton. It regains this ability once a day. You can
have no more than 5 undead creatures up at the same time.

Tuning fork: The elemental gem can be used to open a portal in a designated place such as
the Crystal peak and be used as a tuning fork to travel to any plane of the users choosing.
Once the gem is used this way it goes into a dormant state for exactly 100 years.

Bring back to life: The gem has 3 charges that can be used to cast Revivifty.
