The chillspire arcanum is one of the oldest and largest academies in the Ember core. Apsiring wizards travel from all across the continent to this magical hub. Although the Chillspire arcanum is an independent operator itś still heavily influenced by the Ember empire. The select aspiring wizards to serve in their ranks. The ones the find worthy are selected to train for a year in Salvos. Where they’ll lead a team of 5 to survive in extreme weather conditions. Their magical expertise is highly valued within the empire resulting in a lot of high ranking magical users. Some wizards take a less adventurous approach and dedicate their time for research in the chillspire arcanum. These inventions are often highly sought after and can be very profitable.

Relations with the empire

The Ember Empire is stationed in the Chillspire arcanum and has teachers in the classrooms, they spread their dogma and are leading any political discussion that might take place. They're doing an excellent job to give the appearance of an open dialogue, while in reality it's very one-sided. In the past some of the more revolutionary wizards were questioning the empires control. After being invited for an open discussion in Calor they all came back with different ideas.
